Learning Objective

• Create and manage project-related activities (Issues, RFIs, Submittals, etc.) in a centralized location via the modules available in Autodesk Build.
• Leverage automation and machine learning by uploading sheets to a project, which automatically generates hyperlinks from sheet numbers and callouts.
• Attach photos taken on-site to issues, RFIs, submittals, markups, etc., and identify the location in the Revit model where photos were taken, allowing users to share relevant information with project members seamlessly.
• Build custom forms that can be used as punch lists, safety checks, etc. which users in the field can complete with the PlanGrid mobile app.

  Anna Liza Montenegro is a trained architect and an accomplished marketing professional in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, she possesses both strategic and execution of marketing initiatives, go-to-market plans, and execute product launches. At Microsol Resources, she develops the marketing strategy, brand management, digital marketing, and other demand generation activities for Microsol’s strategic partnerships with Autodesk, McNeel Rhino, Bluebeam, Enscape, Chaos Group V-Ray, Panzura, Ideate Software, FenestraPro, and other partners. When not marketing, she loves spending time with her kids, traveling, and summers in Maine.

  Joseph Freund is an AEC Application Specialist at Microsol Resources, an Autodesk Gold Partner, in their New York office. He has experience designing single-family homes, healthcare facilities, and affordable housing and is interested in the relationship between technology and the designer; particularly how generative design can be enabled to develop spatial solutions that are intelligently driven by data, while elegantly incorporating aesthetic motifs. Joseph received his Master of Architecture from Iowa State University, and his Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from Loras College. In his free time, he loves camping under dark skies and taking photos of nature.

He has over five years of experience delivering software solutions to international and award-winning architecture, engineering and construction firms.   Aaron Seward is Editor-in-Chief of The Architect’s Newspaper. Seward is an award-winning editor whose career has centered on interpreting architecture for the profession and the general public. He was editor of Texas Architect magazine for six years and prior to that held several positions at AN, including executive editor. In addition to those publications, Seward’s writing on architecture, culture, and the built environment has appeared in Architect, Curbed, Domus, Metropolis, and other publications. He has a BA in Literature, Writing and the Arts from The New School for Social Research.
