An Architect’s Perspective to Unlocking the Value of Prefabrication

To unlock the full value of prefabrication, projects must be planned and executed differently. An early commitment to prefabrication is required and the logic for prefabrication must be aligned to project specific outcomes. The delineation of factory and field scope must be clearly identified and understood and may require additional education to support the implementation of the innovation, including outreach to the AHJ. Opportunities within the supply chain should be explored and identified. The work of factory and field should be planned, optimized and delivered as an integrated domain. This webinar will be presented as a workshop with participants receiving a workbook that will discuss strategies to integrate prefabrication into projects.
